Katana knows firsthand the powers of an organized financial strategy. Rising from a life of poverty and adversity to one of abundance, Katana built a $100 million investment management business as a Certified Financial Planner. 2007, at the age of 48, Katana retired financially independent to pursue her dream of creating helping women create joyful and abundant lives. This evolved into the launch of the Smart Women's Coaching, the free online global community where women learn, grow and connect. In 2008, Katana also founded the Smart Women's Empowerment Program, a foundation that inspires and empowers women and girls with financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
Her vision was creating a community of smart women who would reach out to just one other woman in need and say, “Here take my hand I will show you the way!”
