- “Using Business Skills for Social Good” (March 2009) Northwest University, Kirkland Washington
Vicky kicked off NWU’s new Master of Arts in Social Entrepreneurship program which teaches students to use innovative business management skills to solve social problems and create sustainable, effective organizations. Graduates from this program will be qualified to lead a nonprofit organization, advise business leaders on best practices for social impact programs or start their own social venture. The 32 semester credit program can be completed in 20 months at a tuition cost of less than $20,000.

Portland, OregonVictoria spoke about the aftermath of genocide from the perspective of Rwanda, as well as Darfur, and the need to continue raising awareness. A great turnout, silent auction and generous giving raised over $10,000 for the Oregon Peace Institute.

Vicky was guest speaker on Wise Woman International’s one-hour Wisdom Call, taught monthly by a Fabulously Wonderful Wise Woman who is sharing her gifts with the world.

- Benefit to empower the women of Rwanda (October 2006)
Portland, OregonOver $10,000 was raised at this event by women who insist on making a significant difference in the world. The event showcased the work of Itafari Foundation, which empowers the people of Rwanda through micro loans, education, child sponsorship, high school construction and even the purchase of goats.
